Taipei Municipal Zhiqing Elementary School Smart Reading Cross-School Professional Learning Community

To promote the regular use of HiTeach smart classrooms for the professional growth of smart teachers and to deepen and refine teaching models, Zhiqing Elementary School initiated the Smart Reading Cross-School Professional Learning Community Project, fostering teacher exchange between schools. Zhiqing Elementary School also established the "Cross-Strait Four Regions Remote Smart Classroom Alliance" with Hong Kong, Chengdu, Xiamen, and other places to exchange ideas with smart teachers across the four regions, realizing the ultimate goal of "Zhiqing i-Co-Good" for teachers, students, schools, and the alliance to thrive together.

Mrs. De Mesa's Science HiClass engaged students in learning about earthquake safety using HiTeach 5's interactive features. The session included activities like "Quake Insight," "Quake Clips," and "Quake Guard," making the lessons fun and engaging. Students enjoyed participating in the "Quiz Bee" and recording their safety tips in the "Safe Voice" activity. HiTeach 5 functions, like randomizer and buzz in, made the discussion dynamic and enjoyable. The lesson showcased how HiTeach 5 elevates educational quality, turning a simple lesson into an extraordinary experience.

Teacher Abu's lesson began with a Think Tank Challenge, encouraging students to brainstorm words related to "theme" to engage them in understanding deeper story messages. They then discussed guidelines for identifying themes and used real-world examples through a contest game. The HiTeach system showcased three different perspectives, introducing three short stories: The Forgiving Crocodile, The Crab and the Spider, and The Praying Mantis. Students analyzed themes and points of view using the interactive response system, receiving instant feedback and fostering lively discussions. With HiTeach's interactive tools, real-time feedback, and engaging discussions, the lesson transformed into an immersive and thought-provoking experience.

Committed to advancing educational expertise and the effective integration of technology in instruction, the Teacher Education Center at National Tainan University's "Smart Innovation Academy" has partnered with the Global TEAM Model Education Research Institute. This collaboration introduces HiTeach classroom teaching curriculum and the AI Sokrates digital observation and feedback platform to empower pre-service teachers and cultivate future advancements in teacher development.
