The Teacher Education Center at National University of Tainan (NUTN) has established the "Smart Innovation Academy" to enhance future educators' technological capabilities. Distinguished guests, including President Hui-Ping Chen, attended the grand opening.
Through this collaboration, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed with the Global TEAM Model Smart Education Research Institute. The partnership introduces HiTeach training courses and the AI Sokrates Digital Lesson Observation Platform to empower pre-service teachers.
The classroom simulates a primary school setting with tablet-based differentiated instruction. It features a touch-screen display, HiTeach system, AI Sokrates suite, and PTZ cameras (Refer to AI Lecture Observation Lounge).
The collaboration emphasizes cultivating pre-service teachers' ability to grasp classroom interaction data instantly. By adjusting strategies based on student feedback, teachers can truly realize a student-centered philosophy. Additionally, the production of AI Sokrates lesson examples facilitates resource sharing.
Following the ceremony, Consultant Che-An Shih demonstrated the system. Teachers and students actively participated in HiTeach interactions, creating a lively and focused atmosphere.
"I hope our pre-service teachers can transform their learning in smart classrooms into practical teaching abilities, further building data-driven, high-interaction classrooms. This collaboration is a significant driving force for NUTN's smart education development."
