Part 1. How to sign up for the HiTeach 5 Basic Workshop?
SIGN-UP CRITERIA: Teachers who can sign up for this program are teachers whose students have access to smart devices (e.g. tablets, smartphones, or PC) that can interact with teachers' HiTeach in class on a regular basis. This would require a teaching environment with a sufficient internet connection for both the teacher and the students. (Teachers with touchscreens or smart TVs in their classrooms are better for better use of HiTeach)
Please
complete all the following steps (A to E) and participate in the workshop and the follow-up activities to receive a HiTeach license with 50 students connection for free for up to one year. For more detail on the license please read
part 2 below.
A. Install HiTA 5 TEAM Model Teacher app on your smartphone and register a TEAM Model account

* The TEAM Model account used for TEAM Model 5 is the same one for TEAM Model 3. If you have registered a TEAM Model account in the past, please use it for all the services in TEAM Model 5, including logging into HiTA 5, HiTeach 5, and IES 5.

C. Download and install HiTeach 5 on your PC (for Windows 10 or above):
HiTeach 5 Smarter Teaching System Download and Install D. Join the workshop list through the following link (would require you to sign in with your TEAM Model account from the abovementioned step A)
*You must join before the workshop begins, you won't be able to join after the workshop begins.
*Maximum capacity of 500 people can join a workshop, and a maximum of 200 people can interact with HiTeach per workshop. Only those who interact with HiTeach can obtain a HiTeach license (Interactive record according to HiTeach. Interaction is necessary, merely connecting does not count). E. Join
Facebook Group TEAM Model Smarter Teaching Exchange Community *The workshop will be held online through a video conferencing system. Please join the Facebook group to get the online meeting link and related information. On the day of the workshop, find a quiet place and prepare two devices.
Device A: The PC you have installed HiTeach (see Step C) for hands-on operating and for entering the online workshop video conference.
Device B: A device (desktop/laptop/tablet/smartphone) that can connect to the internet and use a browser for real-time interactive feedback.
It is highly recommended that A and B are different devices (e.g., PC + smartphone)
(1) When joining the meeting, please edit your name to display your unit - name, e.g., Alishan Elementary- Kate Smith
(2) When joining the meeting, please remember to set the microphone to mute and keep the camera on.
(3) When the meeting is in progress, you can use the message method to ask questions and interact with the lecturer, and Q&A time will be open at the end.
Part 2. HiTeach License
(1) After completing all the abovementioned steps (A to F) and participating in the workshop, fill out the feedback form for the workshop (make sure to write your TEAM Model user ID), and a
three-month HiTeach license with 50 students connection will be provided to your TEAM Model account. The license will also have authorization for recording Sokrates Desktop Video.
(2) You can extend the license for
three months by achieving three T green lights.
(3) You can extend the license for
six months by recording a double-green light video.
In total, you can receive a HiTeach license with 50 students connection
for free for up to one year (with Sokrates desktop video authorization). The exact method of extending the license, achieving three T green lights, and recording a double-green light video, will be detailed in the workshop.
*You will not receive multiple licenses for participating in multiple workshops.
