The 2026 TEAM Model Experts Conference convened on July 29 in Socrates Hall at the GIS NTU Convention Center. Centered around the theme "AI Empowering , a New Future for Education" the grand event assembled over a hundred education experts, school leaders, and frontline educators from various counties and cities. Together, they explored future trends in smart education, innovative classroom models, and new directions for professional teacher growth in the AI era.
The conference opened with a keynote speech by Prof. Power Wu, Dean of the TEAM Model Smarter Education Research Institute, titled "HiTeach New Milestone: AI-Empowered Classrooms and Personalized Learning." The speech focused on how AI transitions from an instructional aid to active classroom practice, enabling teachers to grasp students' learning states in real-time and supporting differentiated and personalized learning through data feedback.
As AI rapidly integrates into educational settings, TEAM Model continuously deepens the HiTeach Smarter Teaching System. This empowers teachers to seamlessly incorporate AI tools into familiar classroom routines, comprehensively elevating lesson preparation, interaction, assessment, and feedback efficiency.
A special session titled "DIY Cloud Board Games & Mind Mapping Instructional Application Workshop" was led by Teacher Chang Wen-Chiu from Taichung Ruisui Elementary School. She guided participants through group hands-on activities, demonstrating HiTeach's immense potential in gamified learning, cloud mind mapping, and interactive classroom strategies.
Through the hands-on experience of creating a mini board game in just five minutes, attending teachers not only mastered tool operations but also reflected on how to combine AI, interactive technology, and pedagogical strategies into immediate classroom-ready instructional designs.
During the "Heartbeat 300 Passionate Classroom Sharing Moments," multiple frontline educators and experts took turns sharing inspiring cases. Topics encompassed creating smart classrooms with HiTeach and AI, passionate digital learning practices, differentiated and personalized learning, flipping licensure exam reviews, lesson study and observation experiences, and integrating DIY board games into instruction. These cases demonstrated that smart education is not merely technology deployment, but the deep integration of teacher professionalism, classroom strategies, and student learning needs.
