Education Public Welfare in the Philippines － Teacher Professional Development Showcase
COVID-19 has affected schools and students around the world. With the belief that there is no border for education, HABOOK Group cooperated with the Department of Education, School Division of Batangas in the Philippines to help establish TEAM Model AI Lecture Observation Lounge (LOL) in 10 schools and provide HiTeach Mobile Smarter Teaching System to help teachers to do online teaching. This education public welfare inputs more than USD 320,000, and regularly invites education experts to share their experience and wisdom of online interactive teaching, and explore the models and patterns of AI smarter pedagogical review.
With the students unable to go to school, teachers of Cupang Elementary School and Bayorbor National High School (two of the first schools in the Philippines to use the HiTeach Smarter Teaching System) have broken the traditional online teaching model, and make online teaching more interactive and data-driven.
The teachers of Cupang Elementary School wore their TEAM Model T-shirts energetically, symbolizing their enthusiasm for promoting smart education!
The teachers at Bayorbor National High School are also enthusiastically discussing how to use HiTeach to help them teach their students.
Besides technological innovation in teaching, 10 seed teachers have rapidly transformed into smarter teachers and produce classic Sokrates lesson videos with the help of TEAM Model AI Lecture Observation Lounge (LOL), expert consultants, and AI Coach. Both schools are more mature as AI smarter schools, building a complete smarter teaching syllabus system, and laying an excellent foundation to promote the power of smarter education in the Philippines.
On 5th and 6th of November, Ms. Kimverly U. Abu from Cupang Elementary School and Ms. Geraldine O. Moreto from Bayorbor National High School will present two splendid lesson examples. After the lessons, experts from around the world will use AI Sokrates Video to give feedback and discuss the lessons in real-time.

Bayorbor National High School
Bayorbor National High School was founded in 1970. It is the only public school in Batangas that offers Spanish as a foreign language, and was awarded as the 2019 Best Brigada Eskwela Implementer in the province of Batangas.
Cupang Elementary School was established in 1918 and has been an important educational institution in the local community for more than a hundred years.
The AI Terminal is an intelligent system for the collection and processing of audio and video in the TEAM Model Lecture Observation Lounge (LOL). It is also a personalized exclusive video generation device for student remedial learning after class. Whether it is classroom recording, archived video, live broadcast, video application scenarios such as video conferences, online pedagogical review, and distance interactive classrooms can all come in handy.
