"Technology Leadership Excellence Award and Innovative Smarter Lecture Award" organized by the Taiwan Technology Leadership and Instructional Technology Development Association is to make the concept of smarter education far-reaching and enhance the development of smart education. Every year, a selection committee of authoritative scholars and experts in the education field is convened to select outstanding works and leaders from many participants. The award is a pointer to the development of smart education in schools.
Since the first event was launched in 2012, it has been a great honor for many education sectors. The scope of the award is deep and wide, and there are many winners from kindergartens and high schools, in addition to primary and secondary schools.
With different teaching models, there are also various awards, such as IRS Smarter Classroom Group, Student-tablet Smarter Classroom Group, TBL Smarter Classroom Group, and even the creation of Teamed-up teachers, all of which develop new teaching models for smarter education.
By 2020, the "Technology Leadership Excellence Award and Innovative Smarter Lecture Award" have successfully selected dozens of Innovative Smarter Classroom teams, over 100 outstanding school leaders, and thousands of Smarter Education experts from around the world, making it one of the most prestigious awards in the Smarter Education industry.
In 2021, the "Technology Leadership Excellence Award and Innovative Smarter Lecture Award" has officially reached the milestone of its 10th anniversary. The Taiwan Technology Leadership and Instructional Technology Development Association sincerely welcomes outstanding leaders from public and private educational institutions at all levels, as well as teachers or teacher teams to participate in this event and work together to enhance the development of smart education.

Recognizing Educators for Innovative Teaching and Excellence in Leadership
To promote research in innovative pedagogy in Smarter Classroom and develop Smarter Lecture based on team-based learning, the "Taiwan Technology Leadership and Instructional Technology Development Association" holds the Innovative Smarter Lecture Award selection event to encourage teachers to develop innovative teaching models of Smarter Classroom that can be spread and duplicated. Through the deep integration of teaching and Smarter Classroom, this award aims at practicing the ideal of "student-centered" in Smarter Education.
Knowing from the experience of developing Smarter School, a visionary leader with effective teaching technology strategies can lead a school to create an effective teaching environment, guide teachers in developing Smarter Lectures, achieve self-directed learning of students, and develop unique features of a school. Therefore, the "Taiwan Technology Leadership and Instructional Technology Development Association" organizes the Technology Leadership Excellence Award selection event to honor exemplary school principals in technology leadership, spread their leading experience, and increase educational competitiveness.
