Description: There are various
Lesson Observation Focus Categories built into the Sokrates Lecture Observation App for digital lesson observation. How can schools create their own school-based lesson observation focus categories and use them?
Environmental Requirements: The school has purchased or obtained a
Sokrates Exclusive Lesson Examples Channel and management service (i.e., the digital lesson observation platform), and your
TEAM Model account has administrative authorization.
The Sokrates Lecture Observation App has a variety of built-in lesson observation focus categories, including Team-based Learning, Student Behavior, Cognitive Taxonomy, Learning Community, and more.
In addition, schools can also create their own school-based lesson observation focus categories. The process is as follows:
Step 1: Log into the
Sokrates platform, go to
My Sokrates, and select your exclusive channel.
Step 2: After entering the exclusive channel page, select the
setting button.
Step 3: After the exclusive channel management page appears, select
Focus Category Management and use the
Add,
Edit, and
Delete buttons to create a school focus category.
Step 4: Once you create your school focus categories, you can use them in Sokrates Lecture Observation App during a synchronous lesson observation, or in Sokrates Video for asynchronous lesson observation.
