HiTeach local record storage path transfer and periodic clearing
Environmental requirements: HiTeach 5 v5.0.18.0001 or above (For version check and update method, please refer to
here)
As time goes by, the accumulated lesson records of HiTeach will take up storage space on your computer. If you run out of hard drive space, HiTeach allows you to set up a new hard drive storage path/folder, copy existing records to the new path/folder, and delete the data from the original path to free up storage space. The steps for resetting the storage path for HiTeach lesson records are as follows:
Step 1: Please make sure that you are in editing mode (i.e. not running "Start Lesson"), then click
Hi, and click on
Space Management.
Step 2: After the
HiTeach Space Management Tool interface appears, click
Close HiTeach 5 (because to perform this function, all HiTeach-related applications must be closed), click
Confirm, and then click
Change Path.
Step 3: Select the hard disk to be changed to (the new folder), click
Change Path, and the file copy and moving will start. When the process is finished, click
Confirm if you want to delete the contents in the original folder.
After completing, please click the HiTeach shortcut icon on the desktop to restart HiTeach.
*Note: If the aforementioned actions to close HiTeach-related programs didn't work, please reboot the computer and try again. In addition, you can also set your own lesson record retention time to clear the expired records and quickly recycle the occupied hard disk space according to your needs. However, it is recommended that you use this feature with caution, as the lesson data will no longer be available after the data is deleted.
