Description: How to send hyperlinks to students so that they can click and open the hyperlink
Environmental Requirements: Update HiTeach 5 to the newest version (For version check and update method, please refer to
here)
When teaching with HiTeach 5, teachers can send hyperlinks to students for them to click on and open to browse web pages, watch online videos, view files, etc. There are several ways to do this, as described below:
✨ Method 1: Send text directly
Add or paste text to a HiTeach page, or simply select an existing text on the page, then click the menu button at the top right of the object and select
Send Text to Students.
The hyperlink sent by the teacher will appear on students' devices and can be clicked on to open the hyperlink.
✨ Method 2: Use the Differentiated Push function to send text
Prepare text that contains hyperlinks on the HiTeach page, then click
Push, and click
Differentiated Push.
Next, click
Text, select the text you want to send from this page, then select the recipients you want to send it to, then click
Push.
The text and hyperlink sent by the teacher will appear on students' devices and can be clicked on to open the hyperlink
✨ Method 3: Send with picture/objects
You can attach a hyperlink to a picture object on a HiTeach page. To do this, click
Select, then click the picture object you want to set a hyperlink to, and then click the menu button to click
Link. Next, type or paste a hyperlink and click the OK button.
Teachers can click on this picture/object to open the hyperlink when they are teaching; to send it to students, click
Push and then click
Objectified/object-based push.
Student devices will receive the page sent by the teacher. Click on the page, click on the select button, then click on the picture/object and it will ask if the student wants to open the hyperlink, then click on it to open the hyperlink.
