Requirements
Independent review of incorrect answers is especially important when students are preparing for high-stakes examinations. Yet the extended value of assessment should not create excessive preparation work for teachers. With IES Cloud, teachers can click, drag, and capture question stems and choices in batches, then use the assembled test in a HiTeach lesson or publish it as an IES Cloud online assessment.

Open the cloud test in a HiTeach lesson.

In HiTeach, click the user icon in the upper-right classroom information area, then select Go to IES TEAM Model Cloud from HiTeach Agent.
The browser opens and signs in automatically. Select Resources, Question Bank, and Quick Design. When the window appears, choose Switch to flexible quick design.
Enter a test name, click Upload Attachment, select a PDF or image file, and then click Open.
IES converts the PDF pages into images automatically. Use Preview to inspect the test. Click Capture, select the question type, and frame the first and second single-answer multiple-choice questions.
Select Cloze (Fill-in-the-Blank), then frame the required fill-in-the-blank question areas.
Click Next Page, followed by Save and switch image.
Select Subjective, frame the essay question, and click OK.
Enter the answers and scores for each captured item, then click Save to complete the test.
The completed test now appears in the platform.
Once a test is ready in IES Cloud, use it for a HiTeach assessment or a more engaging Contest Game review activity.
After selecting Start Lesson, open Teaching Material Resources, choose the IES icon, and open the Exam File tab. Select the cloud test; after it downloads, click SelfPace Test.
The quiz begins immediately, and students see the questions on their tablets or laptops.
Students answer each multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blank, essay, or calculation question directly on their devices.
When finished, students click Submit.
The teacher clicks Stop Test. Objective items are graded automatically. For subjective questions, use Peer Grading so students can review and score work according to teacher-defined criteria.
After grading is complete, students can view the full results on their tablets.
Use the response chart to prioritize red and yellow items—questions more students answered incorrectly. Clicking a bar opens the corresponding question page, helping teachers use class time precisely.
Teachers can select students, award points, or invite explanations based on response choices. Return to the results overview to choose another question for interactive review.
When the teacher clicks End Lesson, a complete local record is retained. If the lesson began with an cloud course, students can sign in to the HiTeach cloud portal, review course history and results, and practise incorrect questions.
Across the course, incorrect responses are consolidated into a course mistake notebook. The system uses the student's practice history to recommend suitable questions and review timing, helping limited study time become more focused.
Yes. After students answer, use Peer Grading so they can assess one another's responses. Alternatively, you can use the AI Grading feature to have AI assess and score the responses. If automatic grading is required, define a consistent response format and use Peer Assessment for confirmation.
Yes. After downloading a cloud test from Teaching Material Resources, click Attach in the download window. A test thumbnail is placed on the page. Save the material in HTEX format; next time, clicking the attachment starts a SelfPace Test or Contest Game immediately.
A simple test attachment can launch either a SelfPace Test or Contest Game.
Yes. In the mistake notebook, select View Incorrectly Answered Question, followed by Download Wrong Questions Set.
