Connection is an important characteristic of the internet. By using the internet-of-connections feature of connection commands, you can establish a teaching ecosystem that integrates digital learning resources, making access and implementation of teaching resources more convenient and efficient. HiTeach's material resource connection service and teaching module service can automatically link various online teaching resources (e.g., publisher textbooks, school-based curriculum resources, self-compiled materials, etc.), and by calling HiTeach's interaction or quiz modules, they can automatically transmit teaching resources such as worksheets, questions, quizzes, and multimedia to HiTeach's whiteboard mode without the need for cumbersome processes like screenshotting, copying, and pasting. This reduces the operational and conversion steps between content (C) and teaching technology (T), removes operational barriers to digital transformation, and gradually builds an integrated application ecosystem for **AI Digital Textbooks**.

The HiTeach AI material resource connection function is divided into "Resource Connection Service" and "Teaching Module Service," which can seamlessly integrate with digital material resources. Content service providers can simply set connection commands in the materials they publish to automatically connect with HiTeach's teaching strategy modules, including interaction, task, quiz, and AI GPT functions. This makes it convenient for teachers to use publisher's materials (PPT, PDF, e-books, question bank CDs) or self-compiled materials. By clicking a button on the material, they can quickly activate the set teaching module function, as shown in Figure 1.
   

I. Resource Connection Service

The HiTeach AI connection service can automatically receive teaching resources from digital platforms, such as images, audio, PPT materials, PDF materials, Excel quiz files, etc., for immediate application of HiTeach AI's interactive whiteboard and teacher-student interaction functions. URL control commands are set for various types of digital teaching resources to be automatically sent to HiTeach. Examples are as follows:

Example 1: Insert Image A in HiTeach

Use a standard hyperlink tag <a></a> for web design, but the hyperlink must be set as the URL control command below. Insert your specified cloud image path (e.g., the image path in this example is "https://www.habook.com/data/editor/images/TM5/TEAM_education_EN.png") into the example below:

II. Teaching Module Service

HiTeach + AI has a rich and diverse set of teaching strategy modules, including interactive learning, task-based learning, quiz-based learning, differentiated learning, cooperative learning, peer assessment, and group collaboration. HiTeach supports a teaching module service primarily for PPT materials. By embedding control commands and AI prompts of application method in the PPT material pages of a learning platform, HiTeach's teaching strategy modules can be automatically called when the PPT material is played.
Using the "PPT Setting Tool" of HiTeach 5, you can embed command parameters such as task types, question types, and AI prompts required for HiTeach's interactive functions when editing PPTX files in the PowerPoint.

By embedding the above method strategy teaching module services into the PPT material pages of various learning platforms, when the PPT is played, HiTeach will automatically identify the service commands. Taking Example Four's interactive learning module for "Essay Text Question" with embedded AI prompts as an example, when this page is played, a screen like Figure 4, an AI-embedded digital textbook page, will appear. By simply clicking the HiTeach screenshot (pen), it will automatically take a screenshot, launch the essay text question, and embed the AI prompt so that after students complete their answers, the AI GPT can be called to automatically grade the assignments.

Opening the HiTeach PPT Setting Tool window also allows you to set up teaching module services and embed AI prompts, as shown in Figure 5. This tool window makes it more convenient to set up method or strategy commands for teaching module services without having to memorize the call commands.
