HiTeach Contact Book: Connecting Classroom Learning, Families, and AI Companion Support

Connect Class Updates, Assignments, Assessments, and AI Companion in One Learning Flow

HiTeach Contact Book brings class communication, learning resources, assignments, assessments, and AI Companion support together. It helps families understand each learner's progress more easily, while giving students timely guidance when they need support after class.

Requirements and usage notes

  • Teacher side: We recommend using HiTeach 5.5.1.0000 or later (how to check for updates) and signing in with a TEAM Model account. Teachers should create or select a class roster before publishing Contact Book items.
  • Student side: Students can use their personal access code to sign in at hiteach.cc, then view Contact Book items, pending tasks, assessment records, and AI Companion learning support.
  • Family side: Parents or guardians can use the QR code provided by the teacher to view their child's Contact Book and pending tasks through mobile phone, where this service is enabled.
  • AI Companion: AI Companion features depend on school licensing, account permissions, product version, and platform announcements. Teachers still define the learning goals, activity scope, and suitable student tasks.

How can teachers arrange contact notes, assignments, and assessments directly in HiTeach?

Teachers prepare lessons and teach classes every day, but they also need to post class updates, assign homework, remind students, and respond to families. When these tasks are spread across different platforms, the workload increases and important information can easily be missed.

With HiTeach, teachers can launch after-class arrangements directly from the sidebar by selecting Cloud Platform / Contact Book. Class notices, learning resources, assignments, quizzes, assessment records, and AI Companion support can all be connected to the same learning flow.

  • Publish text messages, links, images, and reminders.
  • Assign homework, quizzes, and assessment activities.
  • Let students sign in to hiteach.cc with a personal access code, without memorizing another account and password.
  • Provide AI Companion support on the student side for questions, practice, and guided learning.
  • Allow families to view Contact Book items and pending tasks, where available.
From classroom to after-class learning, one class roster supports the whole process: teachers switch between fewer platforms, students know where to find their tasks, and families can follow learning progress more clearly. For schools, the Contact Book is not only a communication tool, but also a shared entry point for after-class learning, assessment review, and home-school connection.

Key Applications

1. Never miss class updates

Post class notices, items to bring, review progress, family reminders, and daily announcements so students and families can keep up with class routines.

2. One place for learning resources

Share supplementary materials, learning platforms, video resources, and designated websites so students can review and extend learning after class.

3. Track assignments and assessments

Publish assignments and assessment activities, then provide assessment records that help students manage tasks and help families understand learning progress.

4. Targeted practice for mistakes

Use smart mistake-based practice and brain-based learning strategies to help students review concepts they have not fully mastered.

5. AI Companion for guided learning

Generative AI Companion can support assignment feedback, homework guidance, problem explanations, and follow-up practice, becoming a meaningful after-class learning partner.

Publish the Contact Book Directly from HiTeach

From the HiTeach side panel, select Cloud and then Contact Book. Choose the relevant course and date, and add the information students and families need after class. Because the publishing tools are built into the HiTeach resource area, teachers can arrange follow-up learning immediately after lesson preparation or instruction without opening a separate IES browser page.

A Contact Book entry can include several types of content:

  • Text: Class notices, materials to bring, preview topics, reminders, or daily messages.
  • Links: Supplementary resources, learning platforms, videos, or assigned websites.
  • Images: Event notices, key learning points, student work, or visual instructions.
  • Homework: Tasks with instructions, supporting materials, and a submission period.
  • Assessments: Quizzes or assessment activities for students to complete within the assigned period.

Designed for everyday school communication: Teachers publish from the same HiTeach environment used for teaching. Students and families can then open the information with the student's access code, connecting home-school communication with after-class learning.

Find Student Access Codes in Course Management

In the HiTeach side panel, open Cloud, select Course Management, and choose the course roster. Each student has an individual access code. This code identifies the student and opens the correct Contact Book messages, homework, assessments, and learning content.

When codes need to be distributed, use More Features to generate printable access-code sticker files. Export the file as a PDF, print the labels or notices, and give each student and family only the code assigned to that student. For the workflow described in this guide, students and parents use the printed access code at hiteach.cc.

Course Management displays each student's access code and provides printable sticker files for secure individual distribution.
Privacy reminder: An access code connects directly to an individual student's learning information. Distribute each code privately and do not post or forward the full-class list. If a code has been exposed, generate a new one in Course Management before sharing it again.

Students Enter an Access Code to View Messages and Learning Tasks

Step 1 | Enter the access code at hiteach.cc

Using a computer, tablet, or mobile browser, go to hiteach.cc. Enter the individual access code provided by the teacher and select the arrow. Once the system identifies the student, it opens the corresponding learning page without requiring the student to remember another complex username and password.

Step 2 | View today's messages, homework, and assessments

On the Today page, students can view messages published by the teacher as well as homework and assessments that are in progress. Contact Book content may include text, links, and images. Students can select an assigned activity, check its schedule and requirements, and continue to the relevant task.

An AI Learning Companion is also available in the lower-right corner of the student page. It can accompany students with questions, practice, and learning support, helping them better understand the content and continue learning with greater confidence.

Parents Use hiteach.cc to View Their Child's Contact Book

Parents and guardians do not need to install a separate app for this workflow. Open hiteach.cc in a mobile or desktop browser, enter the access code provided for the child, and open the corresponding Today page. The page can show home-school messages, current homework, assessments, practice, and other course information published by the teacher.

  1. Obtain the student's individual access code from the teacher.
  2. Open hiteach.cc and enter the access code in the field at the top of the page.
  3. Review the Today page and select the relevant homework, assessment, or learning information when needed.

After-Class Example: Assessment Record Review | Personalized Learning After Class

After a teacher completes a self-paced assessment in class, each student's assessment record can become a starting point for after-class review. Students do not need to search for the original questions again. They simply sign in to the Contact Book and open AI Companion from their own assessment record.

  1. Complete the assessment in class: The teacher uses HiTeach to run a self-paced assessment or similar activity, and students submit their answers to create personal assessment records.
  2. Sign in after class: The student goes to hiteach.cc and enters the personal access code provided by the teacher to open the Contact Book.
  3. Select an assessment record: The student can open the item from today's Contact Book entries, or choose Assessment Records from the left menu and select the assessment to review.
  4. Launch AI Companion: After opening the assessment record, the student clicks the AI Companion button to start problem review or extra practice.
  5. Review mistakes and understand the concept: The student chooses explanation support and selects the question to review. If the explanation is still unclear, the student can tell AI Companion, "I don't understand," and ask for a simpler explanation.
  6. Continue with extra practice: The student can return to the menu and choose extra practice. AI Companion generates related questions and adjusts the next practice direction according to the student's responses.
