HiTeach Web Excel Import: Build Questions with Correct Answers

HiTeach Web | Operation and Application Guide

Import Questions with Preset Correct Answers

When you have many text-based questions and want to preset the question type, choices, correct answer, and score, organize them in the HiTeach Web Excel format and import the file.

Requirements and Before You Begin

  • HiTeach Web is a browser-based service. The teacher and all students need a stable internet connection. We recommend the latest version of Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge for the teacher device.
  • HiTeach Web is available under Free, Professional, and School licenses. See the product and licensing page for details.
  • Available features, usage limits, participant capacity, and cloud storage vary by license. Refer to the latest information shown after sign-in and on the product page.
  • An Excel question file must follow the fields and format required by HiTeach Web. This method is designed mainly for text-based questions. For images, formulas, or complex layouts, use a PDF or image instead.

Who Should Use Excel Import?

Use it for recurring assessments, large question sets, and activities that need preset correct answers. For one question asked during class, writing on the whiteboard or inserting an image is faster.

  • Line breaks or special characters display incorrectly: Simplify the text formatting and try again.
  • The question includes an image: Use PDF, image, or screen capture instead.
