HiTeach Web Mind Maps: Collaboration and Individual Tasks

HiTeach Web | Operation and Application Guide

Collaborative Class Mind Maps or Individual Mind Map Tasks

Use Mind Maps to activate prior knowledge, brainstorm, classify concepts, or plan group work. Teachers can run one shared map for collaborative editing or send a link as an individual work task.

Requirements and Before You Begin

  • HiTeach Web is a browser-based service. The teacher and all students need a stable internet connection. We recommend the latest version of Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge for the teacher device.
  • HiTeach Web is available under Free, Professional, and School licenses. See the product and licensing page for details.
  • Available features, usage limits, participant capacity, and cloud storage vary by license. Refer to the latest information shown after sign-in and on the product page.
  • Collaborative mind maps require a stable internet connection. Before simultaneous editing, agree on branch ownership, colors, naming, and a rule against deleting another student's content.

Choose Collaboration or Individual Work

Whole-class or group collaboration

Multiple students edit the same map to collect, categorize, and organize ideas together.

Individual work task

Each student builds a personal structure from the prompt, making it easier to assess understanding and compare different ways of organizing ideas.
