TEAM Model AI Smarter School

Plan 2: Smart Learning Data Diagnostics Plan

From Assessment Data to Learning Diagnostic Analysis
Turning Every Assessment into Interpretable, Actionable Learning Evidence

In today's widespread use of digital assessment, teachers don't lack testing tools; they lack the analysis system that can truly "interpret assessment results."

HiTeach, paired with the clouDAS Diagnostic Analysis Module, allows teachers to see more than just scores. It enables them to clearly grasp students' knowledge gaps, question characteristics, learning blind spots, and competency distribution, instantly generating learning diagnostic reports usable for instructional decision-making and school management.

clouDAS Diagnostic Analysis, Plato Learning Assessment Analysis on IES Cloud Platform Campus Edition

I. From Assessment to Diagnosis: One-Click Generation of Comprehensive Analysis Reports

Regardless of whether you use the HiTeach Test Mode or IES Cloud Platform Assessment Activities, the assessment results can be deeply analyzed directly through clouDAS, rapidly generating detailed reports that include student scores, answer distribution, and knowledge point mastery. Teachers can use the report content to accurately grasp individual students' learning weaknesses and design differentiated remedial or advanced strategies for the class.

The Application Value of clouDAS Learning Diagnosis

The clouDAS learning diagnostic analysis can generate the following:

1. Individual Learning Diagnostic Report

  • Individual student question response status

  • Synthesis of incorrect question types and weaknesses

  • Weakness analysis corresponding to competency indicators or scenario-based literacy

  • Can aid in judging learning trends

  • Suggested remediation paths (teachers can implement differentiated instruction based on the report)

2. Class Diagnostic Analysis Report

  • Correct answer rate and difficulty distribution for each question

  • Class competency placement map

  • Incorrect answer analysis, misconception diagnosis

  • Comparison of high, medium, and low score groups

  • The class instruction can directly use this report for remediation, review, grouping, and pedagogical adjustment

💡For student devices (tablets, mobile phones, etc.) to support assessment functions, they must be paired with the HiTeach Student-device Access(Web IRS) Module; if students use IRS clickers, they must be paired with the Student IRS Clicker Access Module. Diagnostic analysis of assessment results also requires the clouDAS Diagnostic Analysis Module.

II. Cross-Class Comparison: Truly Implementing "Large Sample" Learning Analysis

Most existing digital assessment tools can only review single-class performance, but one of clouDAS's core advantages is its ability to automatically generate cross-class learning diagnostic analysis reports, enabling teaching and research teams to conduct horizontal comparison and study of teaching effectiveness.

Cross-class assessment and analysis

When multiple classes use the same assessment paper, the system can automatically integrate:

  • Average performance of different classes

  • Leading or lagging questions

  • Class differences in competency indicators

  • Class differences in understanding the same competency question

  • A simplified cross-class summary table

This is crucial for grade-level collaborative preparation, instructional improvement, and school curriculum development.

III. Campus License Exclusive: School-Wide Assessment Activities and Automatic Analysis Aggregation

If the school purchases the HiTeach Campus Licese (It will include the IES Campus License) or the IES Campus License, they can launch school-level learning assessment activities.

Full Workflow for Campus Assessment Activities (Administrator Side)

  1. The school designates an assessment (e.g., a reading quiz, subject mid-term exam)

  2. Publishes it as a cross-class "Campus Assessment Activity"

  3. Assigns the classes or teachers to execute the assessment

  4. Teachers automatically receive an "Activity Assessment Notification" when they log into HiTeach

  5. The assessment can be executed in class, with results instantly synchronized to the cloud

  6. The system automatically generates:

    • School-wide Integrated Analysis Report

    • Class Comparison Report

    • Question-Level Analysis

    • Competency Indicator or Literacy Analysis

    • Individual Diagnostic Report

The school does not need to manually aggregate data; the process is fully automated.

💡For student devices (tablets, mobile phones, etc.) to support assessment functions, they must be paired with the HiTeach Student-device Access Module; if students use IRS clickers, they must be paired with the IRS Clicker Access Module. Diagnostic analysis of assessment results also requires the clouDAS Diagnostic Analysis Module.

💡If the school purchases the HiTeach Campus License, the IES Cloud Platform Campus License is included and can also be purchased directly. Additionally, the PLAYTOL Module add-on for the IES Campus License must be purchased.

IV. Large-Scale Events and Competitions: Easily Host a Fun "Digital Literacy Competition System"

This solution is not only suitable for daily curriculum instruction but can also be extended for large-scale assessment activities. The IES Cloud Platform Campus Edition can be used to host school-wide assessment activities, such as the "Zhiqing Reading King" Challenge at Taipei Municipal Zhiqing Elementary School. Building on this foundation, even larger academic competitions can be organized, such as the Digital Dual Reading Literacy Competition held by the Hsinchu County Department of Education and the National Reading Star Competition event held by TTLITDA in Taiwan. The typical workflow for these events mainly involves: first, publishing a cross-class enrollment event; second, classes participate using HiTeach in the classroom; third, based on the scores, class representatives are selected; and finally, a "live reading challenge" is held, utilizing the HiTeach Contest Game Mode for an exciting on-site competition.

Typical Activity Workflow:

  1. The school publishes a cross-class reading assessment event.

  2. Teachers in each class use HiTeach to conduct the assessment during class.

  3. The system aggregates scores and diagnostic analysis reports for all classes.

  4. Class representatives are selected based on the scores.

  5. A "live reading challenge" final is held.

  6. The Contest Game Mode in HiTeach's test application is used to create an exciting on-site atmosphere and high group participation.
