HABOOK Receives The 2020 Most Sustain Education Partner from DepEd Division of Batangas, Philippines
While 2020 is a tough year for the world, there is a group of educators who are using the latest educational technology to change education in Batangas Province, Philippines.
On 14th January 2021, over 1,000 kilometers apart, an online education summit was held by the DepEd Division of Batangas, Philippines. More than 1000 educational experts from Philippines witnessed the live broadcast of Prof. Power Wu, founder of HABOOK Group, receiving "The 2020 Most Sustain Education Partner" from Dr. Merthel M. Evardome, CESO V, Schools Division Superintendent, Department of Education, Batangas Province, Philippines.
In 2020, faced with severe pandemics and challenges, HABOOK continued to promote international cooperation, implementing corporate social responsibility while promoting friendship and deeper trust between the Philippines and Taiwan. HABOOK inputs over three hundred thousand USD into The Batangas & Taiwan Public Welfare Cooperation Project, including the introduction of software like HiTeach Smarter Teaching System and hardware equipment, smarter teacher training, and online forums, making online teaching highly interactive and data-driven.

Besides technological innovation in teaching, 10 lead teachers fromCupang Elementary Schooland Bayorbor National High Schoolhave rapidly transformed into smarter teachers and produce Sokrates lesson videos with the help of TEAM Model AI Lecture Observation Lounge (LOL), expert consultants, and AI Coach.

With the strong support from Dr. Merthel & Sir Ramil who initiated the project, as well as Maam Emiliana (PSDS) & Sir Joel Lubis (PSDS), Sir Rundolph & Sir Oliver & Sir Gregg (Principals), and also Smarter Teachers from Cupang & Bayorbor, both schools are more matured as AI Smarter Schools, building a complete smarter teaching syllabus system, making TEAM Model an essential part of their daily teaching especially during this challenging COVID-19 pandemic period, laying an excellent foundation to promote the power of smarter education in the Philippines.
In 2021, online teaching and digital lesson observation may become the new normal. More is yet to come in this project, as HABOOK will help other 8 schools in Batangas to become AI Smarter School, continue the successful venture of Cupang & Bayorbor by initiating an enhancement phase for effective teacher professional development, and support smarter education in the Philippines.
