Asynchronous Learning: Extend Teaching with the HiTeach Contact Book

For everyday learning before and after class, the HiTeach Contact Book is the recommended starting point. From the HiTeach side panel, teachers can open Cloud / Contact Book, select a course and date, and add text, links, images, assessments, or homework. They can schedule the next learning step without leaving the familiar HiTeach environment to sign in to a separate browser-based administration page.

Familiar Access for Teachers, Students, and Families

• Teachers: Publish and update Contact Book content directly from HiTeach, keeping preparation, instruction, and follow-up connected.
• Students: Use the individual access code in the course roster to enter hiteach.cc without memorizing another complex account and password.
• Families: After connecting the student's access code, parents or guardians can view Contact Book information related to that learner.

For assignments that require more detailed scheduling, attachment-format rules, online annotation, scores, written feedback, or class-wide result exports, the existing IES + AClass ONE workflow remains available. Teachers can choose the most efficient entry point for the complexity of the activity rather than being limited to one method.

Synchronous Learning: See Every Submission as the Lesson Unfolds

For work that students need to complete and discuss during class, teachers can use Task Works in HiTeach Professional Edition. A task may begin with a whiteboard page, PowerPoint slide, web page, or prepared HiTeach page. The teacher then chooses an image, audio, or file task and sends it to students through Web IRS.

Students complete the task and tap Send. The collection window on the teacher's screen immediately shows who has submitted and displays the work received. Teachers no longer need to check every desk or wait until after class to discover which students need support.

Images, Audio, and Files Reveal Different Kinds of Learning

• Image tasks: Collect photos of paper worksheets, handwritten solutions, drawings, hands-on products, or learning-process evidence.

• File tasks: Gather documents, presentations, and other completed digital work in one classroom collection window.
