The Technology Leadership Excellence Award and Innovative Smarter Lecture Award, organized by the Taiwan Technology Leadership and Instructional Technology Development Association, is an award to promote the concept of smart education and to enhance the development of smart education. Each year, a selection committee of authoritative scholars and experts in the field of education is convened to select outstanding entries and outstanding leaders from the many participants, to stimulate more innovative smart teaching models, and to encourage the development of smart education in more schools.

Since the first event was launched in 2012, it has added honor to many educators. The scope of the award is very wide, in addition to elementary and middle schools, there are many winners from kindergartens and high schools, and a wide range of subjects and teaching models.

By 2022, the "Technology Leadership Excellence Award and Innovative Smarter Lecture Award" has successfully selected dozens of innovative smart lecture teams, over a hundred outstanding school leaders and thousands of smart education experts from around the world, making it one of the most prestigious awards in the smart education industry.
