To promote teaching strategies that balance print and digital reading, and to implement the spirit of competency-oriented curriculum, the Hsinchu County Government Education Bureau grandly hosted the "Digital Dual Reading Literacy Competition" at Jiafeng Elementary School on June 7th. This event was jointly planned by the Hsinchu County Digital Learning Promotion Office, the Elementary School Language Arts Guidance Group, the Taiwan Technology Leadership and Instructional Technology Development Association , the Global TEAM Model Education Research Institute , and the Little Owl Smart Alliance Schools. Combining technology with reading proficiency, the competition attracted enthusiastic participation from numerous schools across Hsinchu County.

Over a hundred teachers and students gathered, filling the venue.
Distinguished guests included Director Yang Chun-Tzu of the Hsinchu County Education Bureau, Professor Power Wu, President of the Global TEAM Model Education Research Institute, Dr. Liang Jen-Kai, Chairman of the Taiwan Technology Leadership and Instructional Technology Development Association, and Executive Secretary Li Kun-Lien of the Hsinchu County Digital Learning Office. The competition was conducted in four groups. The Language Arts Guidance Group designed high-level competency questions for reading comprehension. Utilizing the "Contest Game Mode" feature on the HiTeach platform, students used their tablets to provide feedback, read texts instantly, and answer questions in real-time. The system automatically scored and ranked participants based on accuracy and speed. This not only enhanced students' digital skills but also cultivated critical abilities such as information integration, interpretation, and expression. The contest-style competition design transformed reading from a static learning activity into a stimulating and engaging learning experience!
