Panel Discussion on Educational Technology at GIS Taiwan.
Panel Discussion

This session focused on the equity and challenges of integrating technology into education.

Discussion topics included:

  1. How can we prevent neglecting the needs of disadvantaged groups when corporations lead EdTech development?
  2. How can the digital divide be narrowed, rather than widened by technology, through personalized and precise instruction?
  3. How can students effectively interact with AI? Starting with questioning, cultivate AI literacy and critical thinking skills.
  4. Can virtual classrooms truly achieve universal education access? What's missing on the path from ideal to practice?

Dr. Liang emphasized: "The core of integrating educational technology with AI is not about showcasing fancy features or replacing teachers. Instead, it's about using technology to enhance teacher-student interaction and bridge the urban-rural gap. HiTeach aims to create a comprehensive solution that simultaneously achieves both differentiated learning and whole-class teaching effectiveness."
