Research shows that Game-based Learning (GBL) can increase learning motivation and enhance concentration, with the learning effect being even more significant for low-achieving students in typically distributed classes. For example, master educators like Piaget, Vygotsky, and Dewey all advocated for the importance of integrating fun and games into learning.
HiTeach 5S features a rich and diverse set of game-based learning strategy modules, including the Pick-out Module, In-Class Board Game Module, and Contest Game Module, among others.
I. Pick-out Module: Smart Pick-out, Spinning Wheel, Punch Board, etc.
II. In-Class Board Game Module: Whack-a-Mole, Sweeping Stars, Rocket Launch, and other group competition board game modules.
III. Contest Game Module: Survival Race, Score Race, etc.
In classroom teaching activity design, appropriately integrating HiTeach's game-based learning strategies—including clever designs for problem-solving, challenging tasks, competition rules, and reward mechanisms—creates an engaging, interactive, and proactive "learning through play" classroom that makes learning both effective and fun.
HiTeach's In-Class Board Game module automatically incorporates the class roster, integrates teaching material resources, allows for custom game content, and can instantly generate questions using AI. With just a large screen, groups can line up to participate in the competition without tablets, which is very exciting! The game can also be pushed to student tablets, allowing students to practice and learn through games on their own devices.
For example, to learn the concept of mathematical multiples, you can design a "Multiple Power" Whack-a-Mole game. To help students learn more idioms easily, you can design an Idiom Competition.

The Mobile Screen Mirroring and Live Streaming (Live) functions allow you to wirelessly project the screen of your mobile phone, including images, videos, and applications, onto the large screen where HiTeach is running at any time during class.
The Live Streaming function transmits your mobile phone's camera feed synchronously to the HiTeach page. By aiming the phone's camera at teaching materials or real objects, it transforms into a material presenter, allowing for live streaming of teaching operations in class.
There's no need to install a separate mirroring app. HiTeach, combined with the HiTA app, allows you to instantly project various teaching resources from your mobile phone wirelessly onto a large screen or interactive whiteboard for the whole class to view and discuss. How convenient is that!

HiTeach 5S introduces the Spinning The Wheel and Punch Board functions. The lucky wheel is a common game activity. HiTeach's Spin The Wheel feature automatically places the class roster into the large wheel. Pressing the spin button, accompanied by sound effects and the visual rotation, significantly enhances the gamified scenario for selecting students or holding raffles. In the Pick-out tool, select the Spin The Wheel function, then press the start spin button to initiate a fun and educational lucky wheel activity.
HiTeach's Punch Board function automatically places the class roster into the prize grid squares. With background music and the sound effect of punching through, it instantly creates a classroom board game scenario. In the Pick-out tool, select the Punch Board function, and then invite students to line up and participate in the "punch-a-prize" activity.

HiTeach 5S introduces the function to embed AI prompts into digital textbook pages. During lesson preparation, you can embed the prompt words for AI grading into the teaching material's PPT page. This way, after students complete handwritten answers to essay questions, they can directly call upon AI to grade the assignment and calculate scores. When the PPT is played on an interactive page that has embedded AI prompts, it automatically calls the HiTeach Subjective Question function. After students complete their handwritten solutions, clicking the AI button will display the embedded AI prompt. Then, clicking the Try It button allows AI to assist in grading the assignment, providing scores and feedback, and calculating statistics.

Whole-class collaborative mind maps can be shared to the cloud during class, allowing students to continue collaboration after class without interrupting their learning. When a teacher shares a collaborative mind map from HiTeach, a short code (6 digits) is automatically generated. Students can simply enter the short code on the HiTeach web portal (hiteach.cc) to quickly open the collaborative mind map and complete the group or whole-class collaborative task assigned by the teacher.
Teachers can use the cloud mind map to assign pre-class review homework, for example, by having groups collaboratively summarize the main idea of a text paragraph or write down their review notes and questions. Upon returning to class, the teacher can open the students' pre-class cloud mind map in HiTeach and immediately jump into the learning activity.

HiTeach 5S introduces a new feature for AI automated grading of assignments and quizzes. During lesson preparation and question creation, embed the desired AI grading prompts into the assignment or quiz. The teacher then runs the Test Mode and, after collecting students' assignments or answer sheets, clicks the AI Grading button. The AI will automatically complete the grading, scoring, and providing feedback for the questions designated by the teacher (subjective questions), as shown in the figure: AI Automated Grading of Assignments and Quizzes. After AI assists with grading assignments and quizzes, the teacher can correct or adjust the AI's score and feedback at any time.
By applying this new function, school teaching teams can collaboratively edit and share HiTeach cloud quiz files, gradually building school-based teaching materials such as assignments, quizzes, and curricula with AI-assisted grading. From the HiTeach Teaching Material Resources Dashboard, selecting an assignment or quiz and clicking "Use" will launch Test Mode and AI automated grading. This new function is another meticulously crafted digitalization effort that progressively realizes the four major e-learning initiatives of TEAM (Teaching, Assessing, Diagnosing, Remediation), helping teachers delegate simple, repetitive tasks to the AI assistant and focus on teaching innovation and individualized guidance.

The HiTeach platform's curriculum Syllabus is a structured curriculum repository that provides users with a collaborative lesson preparation platform for editing course materials and quizzes in a structured and sequential manner. In the Syllabus, you can arrange resources required for teaching (PowerPoint, HTEX, PDF, images, videos, web hyperlinks), quizzes (questions), and other materials for differentiated and adaptive learning.
Applying HiTeach 5S's new function for embedding AI prompts allows you to further embed AI prompts into curriculum materials. Teaching resources that require AI assistance, such as PPT presentations and quizzes, can have AI prompts embedded.
After preparing interactive materials and media, differentiated tasks and assignments, and AI-embedded grading quizzes for each chapter, simply open the HiTeach 5S Teaching Material Resources Dashboard during class, and you can select the presentation or quiz you want to use with a single click. A single click initiates the quiz, and AI automatically grades it—effortless!
In class, after inviting students to connect, a single click on the school-based AI syllabus's AI quiz will automatically enter Test Mode. After students submit their quizzes, clicking the "End Test" button, followed by the AI Grading button, prompts AI to assist in grading subjective questions. After a brief moment, the complex tasks of grading, score calculation, and statistics will be completed automatically.
Delegate simple, repetitive tasks to the AI assistant, allowing teachers to focus on teaching innovation and individualized guidance, truly teaching according to aptitude.
