At the beginning of the event, ESUT showcased the passion and vitality of Taiwanese students. A choir of over a hundred children welcomed the Philippine guests at the school gate with beautiful singing, creating a heartwarming scene. Subsequently, during the formal meeting, the TEAM Model smart education team shared the successful experiences of HiTeach in Taiwan, Jordan, and Batangas Province in the Philippines, demonstrating how AI smart education crosses borders and is implemented in diverse teaching fields.
The core highlight of the visit was the SEL (Social Emotional Learning) bilingual smart class demonstration by Teachers Weng Jui-Ling and Hsu Ching-Yi. It fully utilized the "1-to-1 tablet" learning environment, combining HiTeach's diverse interactions, AI Summary, AI Mind Map, and group collaboration features.
During the class, students engaged in enthusiastic discussions, while AI instantly aggregated and analyzed their thoughts in real-time. This perfectly interpreted how technology assists teaching, allowing teachers to devote more energy to emotional support and guidance for students.
Beyond the classroom demonstration, this visit showcased the modern "AI Digital Lesson Observation model" to the Philippine officials. Educational experts gathered in the Smart Observation Lounge, using the observation app to instantly mark and provide feedback on the class. After the lesson, data feedback including the AI Sokrates video, observation report, and Sokrates timeline was immediately generated, making post-lesson discussions more focused and efficient.
The regional directors from the Philippines expressed high interest in this, raising enthusiastic questions regarding smart classroom curriculum design and how AI assists education. The officials unanimously agreed that this "data-driven" model is exactly the key for the Schools Division Offices (SDO) in the Philippines to promote digital transformation and enhance teaching quality.
