The research teacher team of the University of Taipei Experimental Elementary School (ESUT) won the prestigious "Special Excellence Award" (General Teaching Group) at the 114th Academic Year Taipei Smart Education Elite Awards with their project titled "AI Writes with You: The Application of the WRITE Dual-Process AI-Assisted Writing Guidance Model in Elementary Thematic Writing," showcasing outstanding achievements in AI-powered language arts instruction and smart classroom practices.
Despite teachers diligently grading essays and providing scores, comments, and revision suggestions, students still repeatedly struggle with issues such as unrefined sentences, insufficient use of rhetoric, and repetitive typos. Furthermore, when students finally receive their graded papers, several days or even a week have passed since the actual writing process. Consequently, the original writing context has faded, making it difficult for students to immediately understand and correct their expressions.
To address the issues of "delayed feedback" and "lack of revision motivation," the ESUT team introduced HiTeach AI and Taipei City Government’s CooC AI Platform, turning AI into a smart teaching assistant in the classroom and a smart learning companion for students:

Instructional transformation does not happen overnight. The ESUT research teacher team deeply cultivated the educational frontline, transforming the "AI Writes with You" model into a solid, standardized teaching routine:
The team continuously conducted class observations, documented progress, and engaged in collaborative teaching, seamlessly integrating AI tools into the language arts classroom flow. Although the process was demanding, the students' visible progress and growth in writing performance became the greatest motivation for the teacher team to keep moving forward.
This award not only recognizes the ESUT teacher team's innovative practices in AI-assisted writing instruction but also highlights the practical value of HiTeach AI in providing instant feedback, supporting learning journeys, and transforming classroom teaching.
